The film was shown by the nuns of Mother Cabrini'
Scenario
After witnessing disease and poverty in the slums of New York, Italian immigrant Francesca Cabrini embarks on a daring journey to convince the hostile mayor to provide housing and medical care for hundreds of orphaned children. This is an order, some of which were over ninety. It is reported that at the end of the film, many of them cried, and some shouted: “THIS IS Cabrini!”.
Cabrini: We can serve our weakness, and we can serve our purpose
Archbishop Corrigan was not the son of poor, working-class Irish immigrants in New York. Corrigan was born in New Jersey to a family of Irish immigrants who owned a grocery store and a wine store in Newark and were rich… Not both.
The scenery and acting were second to none
In Glenn Beck’s program: Is 'Cabrini' The BEST Christian film since “The Passion of the Christ”; (2024). Dare To Be with Andrea Bocelli and Virginia Bocelli. I am not religious in any way, but I really liked this movie.
This whole story has a religious undertone, but you don’t like it very much
watching this movie made me wonder why Hollywood movies are so expensive, because they looked better than many of the $100+ million movies I’ve seen. This is a wonderful story about a man who just wants to help others as much as he can. She is a bulldog and does what she needs to do to get the job done.
An excellent film from people of all walks of life
She doesn’t work miracles or anything, she just works hard for those she cares about.
