Scenario
It follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a TV documentary journalist whose work has been built on exposing the transgressions of long-respected institutions. In multiple episodes, Jonathon uses the same lens throughout the series, a medium-length telephoto. Such a lens would not be able to focus on close-up subjects like selfies with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine.
The film starts off annoying and shaky, but slowly builds into an intriguing story
I don’t know if Alfonso has an enemy on IMDB, which explains the brutal and unfair 1-star ratings, but they are completely out of line. .At first it doesn’t seem like a real mystery, more of a tragic drama. But you start to get the sense that there is more to the story than the seemingly obvious good and bad characters.
Now for the gray cat
It gets darker and more complex with each episode. So much so that I felt I had to come back here to edit my original review and add stars. The cockroach situation is disturbing and significant.
Curious, mischievous, funny and tender
A small detail, but this may be the first show I’ve ever seen that depicts a real cat/human relationship. Like a cat he’s always by your side. I really appreciate a movie that doesn’t treat the cat as aloof or even a dark presence.
I hope he gets an Oscar!
The gray cat in this movie has more charm than all the humans put together and steals every scene he’s in. It’s a fantastic series and I’m all for it!
