Media commentator Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first starring role on television. I enjoyed the beginning of the series, but I found the ending a bit of a letdown for me. The series tried to wrap up the stories on a more positive note, but struggled to find a solid ending. There are episodes that could have been cut. I found episodes 6-7 to be a daunting task to watch. I appreciated the message, especially living in this very polarizing climate. I would love a second season if they could improve the writing/plot, but if this is truly just a limited series, I feel like they missed the mark, which is why I gave it a 7. It left me wanting more, but I’m not sure if that’s because this season deserves a second season or because I feel sorry for them and want to give them another chance.
