Featured in Amanda the Jedi Show: The Best and Weirdest Movies You (Mostly) Haven’t Seen Yet | Love Lies Bleeding (2024). I went to see this movie with no expectations of what it would be like – I don’t read reviews before I see the movie.
There were also, I thought, added scenes at the end – they were too long
While I think this movie had good intentions and a good message, what really confused me was what it was trying to say. The film started with one plot thread, veered off into another, and then seemed to jump between several.
Maybe I’m too lacking in empathy to get the message, but I suspect the movie is pretty confusing
The acting, direction, and writing seemed okay to me, but when I tried to understand what the movie was trying to “tell” me, they were rather lost in the confusion of the plot. Others might get more out of it than I did, so I don’t want to bash it, but for me it was a bit of a waste of time.
