Scenario
In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, ends up in a high-profile job she’s ill-suited to, with tectonic implications for her marriage and political future. The producers convinced both the American and British governments to allow them to use real-life settings as filming locations for the series, including the still-newly opened U.S.
One location that was missing was Winfield House, the real-life residence of the US

Although it is accurately described as the largest residential estate in London (11 acres) besides Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming. As hard as it may seem, this series is also ‘fresh’.
It’s truly original – it’s never been done before
Something else significant happens halfway through the first episode, and somehow the makers of this drama managed to convince the makers of the trailers not to include it – or even hint at it. I’m only halfway through the second episode, but I can already tell you that this is not like other spy/suspense series or books.
The acting is very believable
It’s also somewhat refreshing because it’s not dominated by the kind of paranoia that annoys Australians and others. The writing is skillful; the plot and dialogue blend seamlessly together.
